Covalima Municipality
The population of the municipality of Covalima is made up of the Tetun Terik and Bunak ethnic groups, and there is also a small group of the Kemak ethnic group. The types of Tais present in this municipality are categorized into Tais Fehan and Tais Bunak. The use of Tais by the ethnic groups existing in the municipality are notable in the traditional ceremonies and rituals practiced within the society.
