In general, traditional textile weaving materials are similar. Only differences in dialect usage are shown. For example backstrap Loom or “Lau- ete” in Fataluku, “atis” in Tetun, and Te’u in Bunak. The elements made up Atis has its own name based on each ethnolinguistic group. Some have been identified, while others have yet to be identified.
